Hey there! My name is Laura Valenti and I am a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a dual degree in Business and Theatre Arts.  As someone who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, I have never been more excited to spend the next upcoming six weeks in London, England!

As an avid theatre lover and as someone who is heavily involved in the theatre at Pitt and in Pittsburgh, I am ecstatic to be able to experience theatre, through my internship with Metta Theatre and in London itself, in a new country.  I have never left the U.S. so it will be so comforting to go to a new city that celebrates and appreciates something I enjoy so much.

Overall, I hope and plan to make the most out of this experience!  I’m excited to make new friends and to explore London (and beyond London) together.  I do admit I am a bit nervous for this to be my first time in a new city without my family, but more eager to see all that London has in store!
