Hi everyone! My name is Katie Gleeson, and I am a rising sophomore from New Jersey. I am in the College of Business Administration, but I am still undecided as to which business major I will be pursuing.

From July 2nd-22nd, I will be in Germany studying Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. This opportunity includes valuable hands-on learning with startup companies in Berlin, which I anticipate will be valuable to my education, especially by giving me a more concrete sense of how businesses operate and innovate in Germany.

My grandfather was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Berlin during the Cold War. I am most excited to see all the monuments and experience the culture (although it has changed) that he has told me so much about. I am not too keen at directions and have no knowledge of the German language, so I might get lost – probably more than once. But I do not plan on letting this take away from the amazing experience.
