Our Final Stop

Yesterday, we submitted our final business analyses and presented our final presentations for the Innovation Blitz Project. I’m proud of how our group was able to effectively combine our individual strengths to produce a strong, focused report for our idea. The Innovation Blitz Project was overall enjoyable, and has helped me realize how I can utilize my creativity and ability to present to project my ideas in a way that others are able to understand it.
Dublin was an amazing experience, from the cultural tours to the site visits and guest speakers. I feel that I experience a perfect blend of Ireland from a cultural perspective and Ireland from a business perspective. The Cliffs of Moher, Howth Head, Glendalough, and Kilkenny were all impressive. The offices at Airbnb were beautiful, and the presentation from Davy was extremely inspirational. Derek Reilly and JCI presented an opportunity that I had otherwise never would have found if it were not for this program. The knowledge from guides like Dr. Kelly and Tim helped me understand how the culture of Ireland is so focused on their national pride stemming from their history. Seeing Croke Park both from a business perspective and a consumer perspective was unique and an experience I’d never have otherwise

Looking back, the past four weeks have been an unforgettable experience. It’s hard to believe that this program is over, from meeting the other ten amazing people in the program in the girls’ dorm to the countless meals at Market Central, group movie nights, and Dublin bus rides. The bond we’ve made over the past four weeks is amazing, and I’m thankful for the dedication that the organizers of this program gave to bring the Woodcock Global Honors Fellowship Program to fruition, for I do not think I would ever have such an unforgettable experience otherwise.
