I am most looking forward to sightseeing and experiencing the culture of Ireland. I have heard from many friends and relatives that it is one of the most beautiful places to visit. I also love to travel, so I’m anticipating a very enjoyable time abroad. Additionally, the culture of Ireland is a big draw. We Americans even celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as an excuse to pay homage to Irish heritage, in our American way. That said, I want to see how the Irish really live and work, especially in such a world famous city as Dublin. Seeing the mesh of state-of-the-art tech and the ancient Celtic culture, blended by Ireland’s long, twisted history is going to be a highlight for me. As we board the plane preparing for takeoff, I will be thinking about these things as well as which movies I will binge on the way over!
