Thus far, we have seen mostly the metropolitan area of Ireland, with the developing economy and increasing infrastructure. We hadn’t seen what the legends have described as a rural, farming country until today. We were able to witness a shepherd training his dog and a herding sheep, while we were also able to visit the serene beauty of a calm lake less than a 30 minute walk away. This alternate part of the country we hadn’t seen yet contributes a lot to the culture of the country, and is important in understanding how the communities work together to increase the efficiency of running the country.
