As someone who loves to travel and explore new cultures, I am very excited that this program is giving me the opportunity to not only explore Ireland, but also Pittsburgh’s culture before I come here for school in the fall. I think by visiting both Pittsburgh and Ireland, I can learn how to adapt and experience new places and build relationships with people from all over the country and world.
Because the business world extends to every country, being able to learn and experience conducting business in another country such as Ireland is very beneficial to me. I am also excited to learn how to use my knowledge of business from the U.S. to help another business in a different country with different business practices. As a marketing major, I hope to also see how marketing in Ireland is similar and different to marketing in the U.S.
