Focusing on Business School

I don’t usually listen to music when I am focusing on schoolwork because it distracts me. As an undergraduate business major, I am looking forward to studying how to create the most effective marketing, and how to use strategies to help businesses. One of the ways to become successful in business is through experience, such as jobs and internships. By working to be accepted in a job or internship, it is possible to forget goals focusing on expanding knowledge instead of experience.

I anticipate intellectually challenging myself by taking classes that I know will be difficult for me. Even though they may be my least favorite classes and I will likely struggle, challenging my mind in that way will help me become resilient in my personal and professional life. To avoid becoming too focused on grades and status outcomes, I will read the news or stories about how marketing changed businesses for the better, which will encourage me to direct my attention on achieving my goals for learning.
