Today we had the opportunity to meet with Tierra Thorne from Blanket & Board. Not only is she a wonderful charcuterie board maker, but also an EIR with the university! When we arrived at the park, the arrangement of everything was perfect.
As we ate our delicious food, we shared our teams and our projects, and she shared her story with us.
She created Blanket & Board during the Covid-19 Pandemic as a way to cheer people up. After investing $10 in an ad and someone seeing it, her business immediately took off. Now, she caters for everyone, including the NFL! She also conducts social work, and helps many people.
I learnt many things today but the biggest takeaway was to continue with your passion, even if it seems small, your hard work will pay off. And you can do as many things as you like to do, as long as you give your full effort!
