Today, we took the Cliftons StrengthsFinder assessment to learn about what our top 5 themes were that best make up our personality. Mine were mainly focused on the Relationship Building broader theme category, with three in that area. I had one theme each in the Strategic Thinking, and Executive areas. From what I gathered from the assessment, I naturally work best in helping lift others up, as well as making calculated decisions.
We partook in a group exercise where we figured out different roles for each person based on our individual assessments. I found that we all had a pretty nice balance, which makes this a wonderful group to work with! Moving forward, now knowing that we mesh together well, working on projects or communicating will be easier as we all know a little bit more about each other – and ourselves. And knowing that each person has a different set of skills and talents that they’re naturally good at, which they can use to do well both in the classroom and outside!
I’m eager to keep learning more about my program mates and myself as the program progresses, and as we continue working together!
