Hello, my name is Alex and I’m from Chester County, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour west of Philly and 4 hours from Pitt.

I’m excited to be a part of the business school and have an interest in finance or supply chain management as a major, hopefully using it in a healthcare industry one day. I also aim to be fluent in Spanish and use international business and communications in a field.

I really enjoy traveling and gaining an international perspective, especially when it comes to business, as I just completed the International Baccalaureate program at my high school. The Woodcock Global Honors Fellowship seemed like an amazing opportunity to have hands-on experience and engage with real businesses. 

In the past, my family and I have traveled to France, Canada, and Bermuda. On a mission trip last summer, I also traveled to Peru. 

In my free time, I love playing and watching sports, as I am a Philadelphia sports fan, and I can’t wait for Pitt games. I also like to attend concerts and listen to all kinds of music.

I am looking forward to this experience with the Woodcock Global Honors Fellowship!
