If I need to concentrate on homework, I will put on the soundtrack to Over the Garden Wall. This classical music has an upbeat vibe which helps me stay happy while I complete my work. I am excited to study financial technology. I am interested in the companies in this field, so Pitt can help me learn about possible careers. 

A business education puts an emphasis on building applicable skills for a work environment. The mix of theory and technical knowledge makes the business school education valuable. I chose to major in business so I can get these technical skills that will make me a valuable candidate when applying for jobs. 

Throughout the next four years, I expect to take advantage of many opportunities that a Pitt education provides. I will join multiple clubs in order to network while having fun. This can move my knowledge in the classroom into transferable skills. I will ignore the grind of school by pursuing my interests through intramural sports, lifting, and joining fun clubs. These stress relievers will provide a happy environment where I can focus on something other than the daily grind.
