Even though my mom’s side of the family is greatly Irish, I never felt a deep connection or interest in learning about Irish culture. I always found it interesting though how places like the U.K. is very similar to the U.S. in some ways but different in others. Through this program I am hoping to learn more about these differences and develop more of a connection to Ireland.
