Food Cloud was very similar to Global Links. They both distribute goods and services back to communities in need, for free. They also are both focused on the circular economy, through reusing and not letting anything go to waste. They happen to have similar business operations as well, in that they collect their respective products, store it in a warehouse, and send it out to communities. They also are focused on educating the community about the issues they are focused on solving, i.e. the rampant food waste issue and the poor medical standards of some places. A difference in the two lies in the target audience of these social enterprises. Food cloud is focused in Dublin, Cork, and Galway. Global Links, on the other hand, focuses both locally in Pittsburgh but also internationally. Another difference is the way that these enterprises handle their respective products. For example, Food Cloud has to abide by food regulations and expiration dates.
