Overall my experience in Florence has been so exciting and rewarding. I have traveled all throughout Italy and to countries all throughout Europe. I have been to so many museums in Florence which my Museology class was very helpful with and I wouldn’t have seen so many without it. I have gotten more out of my shell and have tried so many things and gone on so many experiences that I would never get to do without such an experience.
I have seen so much growth in myself through this semester! I have grown so much socially and feel comfortable living in a country where I don’t know the language. I have also grown professionally through my consulting class, where I have been able to market a company and network.
Some key takeaways are that it is important to be respectful in any country and culture that you are in. Making sure that you are trying to adapt to different cultures is very appreciated. I will take this takeaway back to Pitt Business and use it in my classes a lot, since my major is Global Management and I want to go into International Business.
