Hello my name is Sean Mickel I am from Yardley Pennsylvania. I just finished my second year at the University of Pittsburgh studying Finance and Business Analytics. This summer I will be participating in the international internship program in Dublin Ireland. I choose to participate in this program because I have always been interested in how companies operate in different countries compared to here in the United States. I specifically picked Ireland because my family is originally from Ireland and I have always wanted to go and experience their culture. Some of the things I wish to accomplish while on this program is to meet a lot of new people from Ireland and just get to know as many people as possible. Professionally I want to have hands on experience in a foreign company to further enhance my knowledge and work experience. Academically I want to learn about the culture in Ireland and apply what I have learned during my time at Pitt to be as useful as I can to the company I am working for.
