Hello! My name is Leo Brockman, I’m a Linguistics and Public and Professional Writing double major at Pitt!

I’ll soon be off to Sweden for the Stockholm International Internship program for two months. I’ll be in a Public Relations focused role at a startup called Entrepreneurs Without Boarders. I’ve been interested in the field of PR for a while now, and I hope that this international experience will be a good introduction to the field.

In my personal life I love art and cooking, though lately I’ve been getting into bird watching as well (we have some beautiful red-shouldered hawks that live outside my home in Virginia!). I chose to apply for the Stockholm program because I’m half Swedish (on my mom’s side), and I absolutely adore the country! I’m exited to live and work there for such a long period, and get to experience a new city on my own.

Overall, I’m incredibly exited to head to Stockholm, and my next post will be after I’ve arrived!
