Throughout my internship at Confirmo, I have strengthened several skills that I know will benefit me in my professional, and personal life. The skills I believe I have improved on the most are communication, adaptability, and time management. Working in a professional environment has allowed me to strengthen my ability to collaborate with my coworkers, communicate effectively, and balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines. I have become more comfortable asking questions when I need clarification and more confident in taking initiative and contributing ideas, especially when working on social media content and marketing projects. These experiences have helped me become more independent and proactive in a professional setting. In terms of technical skills, I have grown a lot through the hands-on work I have been able to do. Creating social media content, helping put together launch posts, and contributing to marketing projects has helped me become more confident in my creative abilities. I have also improved my understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and how to create posts that fit a company’s brand and overall goals. Being able to apply these skills in a real work environment has given me valuable experience that I could not have gained in a classroom alone. Living and working in a different country has also helped me grow both personally and professionally. It has pushed me to be more open-minded, adaptable, and aware of different communication styles and workplace expectations. While there were small cultural differences to adjust to, I learned to embrace them and appreciate new perspectives. This experience has made me more confident working with people from different backgrounds and has shown me the importance of being flexible and respectful in a global workplace. I know these experiences will continue to shape the way I approach future opportunities and collaborations.
