Another week in Sweden has came and went! The weather has been absurdly hot, but I’ve been managing with some lake swimming! The nature here in Sweden is absolutely gorgeous! There’s tons of birds, animals, and plants that I only have to take a 15 minute train ride to experience.

Another consequence of the heat was our unfortunately cancelled trip to Göteborg. The heat was too much for the train, and had to be cancelled. Me and my roommate had a good time on our own, however!
In my internship, I’ve gotten a lot of freedom and flexibility. With all that though, I’ve also had some unclear instructions that I had to work through.
My coworker Eliza has been absolutely amazing in figuring out what work I need to get done, and I like to think that we’ve become friends as well. My supervisor has encouraged me to ask plenty of questions, and I’ve been trying my best to do that and get a full understanding of my actual work.
Since a lot of my work so far has been planning and smaller bits of writing, I spend a lot of time just trying to figure stuff out – I try to write down all my thoughts to brainstorm new ideas and figure out my path forward.
Otherwise, Stockholm has continued to be beautiful, and I keep finding new spots and interesting things wherever I explore. I have loved the city and can’t wait for my second month here.
