Hi everyone!

My name is Payton and I am a rising junior from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Accounting with a minor in Studio Arts, and I am also pursuing a Certificate in Leadership and Ethics.

I will be studying in London for 6 weeks starting mid May (so soon!). During my time abroad, I will take a class called International Accounting Issues as well as do an internship! I chose this program because it came at the best time for my major, allowing me to get an internship closer to home next summer. I am also extremely excited to be studying in London because it is one of the most exciting cities in the world! I will be taking this trip with my good friends from Pitt, and I cannot wait to travel with them.

Although I am excited, I am also extremely nervous. I think a lot of my nerves stem from learning how to commute around the city. Normally I am extremely directionally challenged (like the kind that couldn;t direct her friend’s mom to her house in 5th grade) but Pittsburgh was easy for me, so getting to know a new city is daunting.
