Getting to Dublin this week and finding my way around has been a struggle but also so much fun. Upon arriving I was unsure of how to get to the apartments and just about everything else. However, after finding my way there and meeting my roommates and all of the other kids doing the program, I felt much better. We got a tour of the campus and went through orientation and I got the information concerning my internship interview.

The day before my interview I went to go find where the building was so that I wouldn’t be late for my actual interview. I got on the bus and found it pretty easily. Afterwards, I took the opportunity to wander around the larger part of the city. It was really cool to be able to find my way around a new city and use the transportation. I found a lot of cool little places to go back to after work.

During my interview I got really excited to start my internship. The job sounds exactly like what I want to be doing in the future. My supervisor was so nice and helpful and gave me advice on where to go in the city.

Overall, I had a great first week in Dublin and can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds both professionally and personally!
