I got home from Uruguay a few days ago, and I am still adjusting to being back home. Everything was so different there; the language, dinner time, class, the food, and many other things. My 3rd week there, I finally started adjusting to their culture and how things worked, so I wish I would have been able to stay longer.
The thing I am going to miss the most about my time in Uruguay, are the people that I met along the way. Our local buddy Florencia was awesome and did a great job at showing us around and introducing us to the local customs. The picture I uploaded was a few friends and I that I met at a Nacional Futbol game, that was an amazing experience. I met people from all over the world that were traveling and studying as well, and it opened up my eyes to the fact that there are so many amazing places to see and people to meet.
After I graduate I am thinking about taking a few months off before I start adulting, and travel and see different parts of the world. I am so glad that I went on this trip and will be able to take home so many great experiences with me. I would highly recommend going to Uruguay for anyone that is thinking about studying abroad, and wanting a different and unique experience.
Ciao Gracias!!
