Lexi Leaves London

Hi everyone,

This is my last blog post. Well everyone told me it would, but six weeks truly does fly by. I will miss the accessibility and close proximity to fun places in London. Being home makes me realize how easy it was to take a stroll or hop on the tube to go downtown.

My tip for those who plan on going abroad: plan. I had many people send me lists of places to go and things to see, but quite honestly I did not look at them and I regret it. When you first arrive you say to yourself “I have six WEEKS, I have time.” However, what I failed to realize was the longer I waited the less time I had and the more busy I got with my internship and classes.

Plan ahead. Do your research. Make an achievable list of places you want to go, things you want to see, and restaurants you want to try. By doing this it really makes you make great use of the short six weeks.

I thought I had all of the time in the world to see everything I wanted to, but when it reached the last week, I got into a panic. There were still so many things that I had planned to see, but didn’t. So plan ahead, and you’ll thank yourself later.

I had the best time in London, and I cannot wait to tell everyone about all of my adventures.

Cheers,

Lexi
