During my last week in Sydney I was trying to make the most of the time I had left. One of the major things I wanted to do but hadn’t was go to royal national park. Royal national park is one of the oldest national parks in the world and it is on the coast so it has beautiful views.
It was very unlike any national park I have ever seen before. The rocks themselves were beautiful, including the famous Wedding cake rock. They have unique colors and shapes that makes them interesting to look at. I loved climbing them and looking off into the ocean.
The ocean itself was a sight to see. The water was so clear and blue I could stare at it all day. We even had the opportunity to see some whales during our walk. We walked about 3 miles each way but everything was so gorgeous I hardly even noticed.
This hike was easily my favorite of the trip and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to do it before I left. The other walks such as manly and bondi to coogee were beautiful as well but this one just had so much more to look at and wasn’t as crowded. I hope I get the opportunity to go back and see it again someday.
