Dublin, Ireland

The one perk of studying abroad in London is that there are a million places you can go for a fun weekend excursion! My friends and I decided to take a trip to Dublin, Ireland for my birthday weekend!! London has a bunch of airports, but none of them are really convenient to get to, so it was kind of a struggle getting from class to the Gatwick airport. Once at the airport everything was smooth sailing. The flight was very short and smooth. We landed in Dublin late Thursday night, so we just went straight to the hostel. The next day was filled with sight seeing and shopping. We went to bed early because we had to wake up super early for our bus tour to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher on Saturday. Since Ireland is such a small island, it is extremely easy to travel to different cities in Ireland. The Cliffs were absolutely beautiful, highly recommend taking the two hour bus ride out there. Galway was really cute, but it started to rain when we got there, so it was hard to walk around and explore. Sunday we headed back to London, but the trip was an overall success! I am very thankful for this amazing opportunity.
