AS the weather slowly starts to get better here in Vienna, me and my friends have been enjoying more and more outdoor activities. For St. Patricks Day, we returned to one of our favorite breweries here in Vienna for an event they called PaddyFest. With over 5 different levels to the venue, we were able to have an amazing time. The night started with some live Celtic Rock music and green beer. So many people from all over the world were at the event celebrating and it was a great way to meet new people. As the night progressed, we bounced around from level to level exploring trivia rooms, different beer tastings, and even a silent disco! PaddysFest made for a great St. Patricks Day and is something I would definitely do again.
Classes have finally started up for the past few weeks and I already have group assignments in all of them. The WU campus continues to look absolutely gorgeous no matter the time of the year. It is even more beautiful on the inside with an extremely modern classroom setting. I have been very impressed by the faculty here as well, everybody has been super helpful and I love my professors.
Even though we have only had a few weeks of classes, Spring Break has already begun! There are several events going on around the city for the Easter holiday including some beautiful Easter open air markets. Even though I have already been in Vienna for over a month, it is still constantly presenting itself with more and more things to explore. I have a feeling that even by the time I leave to go back home, I will have only scratched the surface of what Vienna has to offer.
In the near future, me and my friends are planning on traveling a bit more around Europe and should be able to see some exciting cities that have always been on my list of places to see. I will definitely be making posts about those trips so be sure to check back for more!
