Thats a Wrap!

I can’t believe its my last week in Dublin. The time just went by so quickly. As excited as I am to return home and reunite with friends and family, I know I will greatly miss my time in this city. I wish I could just combine the life I have at home with my life here!

The last couple days have definitely been strange. Knowing that I am leaving in just a few days, I have found myself paying far more attention to the environment around me and wanting to explore more. At the same time, I have also found myself clinging on to reminders of home including seeking out the tackiest USA themed restaurants I could find.

Overall, I feel like I am definitely returning home as a different person. I can’t quite articulate how or what caused it, but there is definitely a change and its positive. In total, I think I am returning home more confident in myself and more aware of my priorities and what is important.

Studying abroad is truly a unique experience that cannot be replicated in any other way. I also believe you can’t understand the power of studying abroad until you do it yourself. So I already know that as annoying as it will be, I will be endlessly pestering all of my friends to study abroad and experience the magic for themselves.
