Throughout the Pittsburgh portion of this experience, I have grown significantly as a person in multiple ways. I made a group of new friends with which I gained a new level of independence. As an intro into college life, the Pittsburgh portion of this fellowship has increased my knowledge of the area, and how to operate as an independent adult. It also taught me the value of teamwork, and that I don’t need to know how to do everything by myself to be a functioning adult in society. I spent a lot of time learning with my fellow students, but also a lot of time figuring out how to manage my time on my own.
