The culture and people Dublin support the technology-based companies trying to set up shop in Dublin and near the docks. As Dr Kelly explained, the free college for Irish kids helps bring in valuable workers. The rest of European companies are obviously enticed to come due to the low corporate tax and it being the last English-speaking country in the EU. Also, as companies continue to come into Dublin and the docklands, other tech companies that aren’t there look at that and see an opportunity, driving up competition. Seeing other tech companies thrive in the docklands leads companies to want to join in on that success and utilize the high talent pool to improve their business. Dublin is still on the come up, and if they keep up, many tech companies could continue to pour in and grow the Dublin area.
