I chose to look at Katie Hazelbach’s path. She currently works in Sports Marketing with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. I’ve been interested in working with sports all my life, and even took the first steps toward that by working with the Pitt athletic department for a job at Pitt. Katie talks about all the different routes you can take within an organization, and you’re not just limited to one field when working with a team. One way I could reach out to her and get advice is by talking about all those different paths and to see which path a viable and good option for me could be. She also has experience with digital platforms, and with the emphasis we have put on that she could be useful in explaining how she uses them and why they are helpful. Overall, Katie does a lot of things I’m interested in so reaching out to her could be very useful.
