Reflecting back on the dinner with DoOrder and the investor, there wasn’t much actual discussion regarding DoOrder. The majority of the conversations consisted of personal topics such as where we are from, places we’ve traveled, why we choose to major in business and other personal interests. Despite not really talking about DoOrder it was a beneficial dinner as we got to meet in person with the DoOrder staff we will be presenting our consulting project to. The investor was a nice guy and clearly was very knowledgable, but we didn’t get much of a chance to get into deep conversations with him. His response to why he started investing in DoOrder was a long the lines of “One of my good friends told me about DoOrder as he was investing in them.” The experience was will be very memorable because I personally have never eaten in such a nice restaurant and have never been able to converse with business professionals in this type of setting.
