Introduction

Hello, my name is Daniel Romano. I attended Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster PA, about 30 minutes outside of Philly. A little about me is that I enjoy reading, working out, playing the piano, and hanging out with friends. I was a pretty strong student in high school, as part of the National Honors Society, and I hope to be able to continue that trend at Pitt. My professional experience is kind of all over the place, as I have had many different job experiences. My professional experience ranges from being a receptionist for a high-end tennis club, to washing dishes in the back of a Jersey Mikes. I hope to expand my professionalism throughout my experience at Pitt.

I choose to be a part of the Haller Global Honors Fellowship for multiple reasons. Personally, I wanted the opportunity to get to know Pitt’s campus and meet my fellow classmates before the start of the Fall semester. Academically, I am super excited to act as a consultant for shareclub, and use what we have learned in class to implement real changes in the company. That she is located in Ireland, of course, is a much-appreciated bonus. Finally, I hope to become more confident in my interactions with business professionals and increase my vocabulary and knowledge of business terms.
