The first thing I noticed as we drove away from the Dublin airport was just how beautiful the Irish coastline is. I was expecting Ireland to be a lot like England, gloomy and brutalistic, but exploring the cliffs near the sea made me realize that Ireland is one of the most scenic countries I have ever been to. Though I was exhausted from the long flight, I was able to admire the architecture at Trinity College Dublin, which is over 400 years old, far older than any university back in the US. In terms of relation to our ShareClub project, I have noticed a lot less trash on the streets than in the US and I rarely see anyone with a disposable cup or other type of utensil. This shows me that the Irish seem more susceptible to the sustainability movement, which benefits ShareClub.
