Out of all the many site visits we had throughout the course, my favorite was the Guinness Enterprise Center. It is a community of start-ups focused on helping small businesses grow and succeed. Learning about the many different companies they were working with taught me the importance of supporting small, local businesses, and the effort it takes to build one. It helped me develop professionally by giving me more appreciation for start-ups and local businesses.

While exploring Ireland, I got to visit many beautiful places and meet a lot of interesting people from all over Europe. I really enjoyed learning about not only Irish culture, but all about other peoples’ cultures. It was also interesting learning how all of these different people ended up in Ireland and learning about how they adapted to being in a different country. This experience taught me how beneficial it is to meet new people and hear their stories.
