Hello! My name is Sophia Madonia, and I am so excited to be a part of this program! I chose to apply to this particular program because it is a perfect fit for future business students and serves as both an introduction to college business courses and international experiences. I personally love to travel and was super excited to see Ireland in particular because of the beautiful scenery and countryside. While working within big cities such as Belfast is very common in business, I think this program’s unique perspective on small business will help my professional development and understanding of all types of businesses.

A quick introduction about me; I grew up pretty close to Pittsburgh for most of my life, living only about a half an hour away, and I really love this city. I love reading and getting involved in community activities. For example, I worked at a local nursing home for about three years during high school. I am hoping to major in global management and possibly double major in something else.
