Hi everyone!
My name is Anna Costantino, and I’m a second-year student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Global Management with a minor in Chinese. I’m originally from Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. I love crafting, sewing, reading, traveling, and trying new experiences.
At Pitt, I’m involved in Phi Chi Theta, a professional business fraternity. Last summer, I participated in the Plus3 Vietnam Program, which gave me the chance to explore international business in a completely new environment and sparked my interest in continuing to pursue global experiences throughout college.
This summer, I chose the International Internship Program in Berlin because I wanted the opportunity to gain real international work experience while immersing myself in a new culture. Berlin is such a major global hub for business, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and I’m excited to experience firsthand how companies operate in such a dynamic city.
Personally, I hope this experience pushes me outside of my comfort zone, helps me grow more independent, and allows me to build meaningful relationships with people from different backgrounds. Academically, I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in the classroom to real-world business settings and deepen my understanding of global management practices. Professionally, I hope this internship will help me develop valuable workplace skills, strengthen my global perspective, and give me insight into what it’s like to work internationally in today’s interconnected business world.
I’m incredibly excited for this journey and can’t wait to share my experiences throughout the summer in Berlin!
