After many error and trials, our entire Haller group finally made it to the end of our timeline for the Haller Global Fellowship Program. It’s been a super exciting, nerve wrecking, but joyous experience. I’ve got to meet some of the students attending the Pitt Business School for the upcoming 2026-2027 year, met many faculty members and clients in Pittsburgh/Ireland, it was a lot of opportunities in just one month alone! But in the end, this all led to our final presentation for our client Erin. We had three teams in total presenting, the Business Development team, the Marketing team, and the Digital Disruption & Innovation team (my team). When it was our turn to present, I suddenly felt very dizzy inside, I wasn’t just presenting to a bunch of classmates and a teacher – it was actual clients inside the room for a real town situation, which honestly made me very nervous while standing in front of the room. I gave the first deliverable/spoke first in the presentation, looking back I could’ve done better. I was not in my best game speaking out loud, but my teammates did a great job themselves which gave me a bit of a sight of relief.

Looking back from where I started, I really have learned a lot from mistakes, experiences, success, and just living through work and real life scenarios from start to finish. The program has given me the sense of what I have to do to succeed as a business student, the general knowledge of how the routine of a business student would look like and overall the basic foundation of studying for important topics like our final exam that our professor Ray Jones gave us, or our presentation for our client Erin McLaughlin. This past month alone also gave me a brief hold of what the college experience would look like, living with a roommate, having to make my own personal schedule according to my school related one, taking care of myself it was just a taste of how college would be in this next week. I really do think this program helped me become a better student academically and personally, talking with others seemed to be a difficult starter before starting the Haller Global Fellowship Program, but now I can go up to people and start a conversation randomly or compliment someone. I also learned to fully balance out school work and personal free time with friends/alone. I really did enjoy this experience with everyone, and I hope everyone has the same endurance for next year.
