Time Flies

I have been in Prague for five weeks now and the time has flown by. I was looking at the calendar trying to plan out the rest of my summer and it hit me that I am almost half way done with my trip. When I was originally planning my summer abroad I assumed that being here for almost 3 months would be more than enough time. After getting here I realized how wrong I was. There is so much to do in Prague I feel like I could find something new everyday and still not be able to see it all. Traveling to different cities is a whole different story. Every time someone mentions going to a new place I immediately am interested and want to join them. Three months in Europe is definitely not enough time but I am set on making the most of it.

Each week of work I have been given more and more responsibilities. This week I have been given my own company phone and have been responsible for calling potential investors and sponsors to gauge their interest in our company. The other interns and I have been broken up into teams and are competing with each other to see who can make the most sales. This friendly competition is a great idea in my opinion because it gives us all an incentive to work harder. After a month of work it’s easy to begin to get bored doing the same thing every day. Fun ideas such as this friendly competition help everyone stay motivated and focused on the task at hand.
