Czech out the Pragueress on my Bucket List

If you’re even remotely interested in studying abroad… DO IT!!!

I have been here for less than a month and have already had some of the best experiences of my life. I’ve seen so many incredible places that I otherwise may have never gotten to see. I’ve met so many great people, who I know will be lifelong friends. I’ve had the opportunity to experience many different European cultures in just a few weeks. This past weekend, I traveled to Prague, Czech Republic with a group of friends in the same program as me.

Prague 1

This was such a cool city, rich with incredible architecture and history. This is a photo of one of my favorite fountains of this massive city that was full of cool sights like this one.

One of the main attractions to the city of Prague is its impressive cathedrals and churches. The architecture of these buildings is not only beautiful, but is astounding given the time period during which they were built. The church that is shown in this picture does not only exist for its beauty, as it offers real church services.

This is the outside of this beautiful church, that I was lucky to have the chance to see with some good friends. This building was as beautiful on the outside as it was on the inside. This Gothic church was one of the coolest churches I’ve seen in my life.

And 287 steps later… we made it to the top of the church. Overlooking the entire city, this church offered one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen in my life. It gave full view of the incredibly beautiful Vltava River that runs through Prague, and all of the magnificent bridges that arch over top of it.
