entry 6 – spring break

Welcome back,

Updates! I finished midterm week in one piece, and made it to Rome where I am writing this blog from in one piece as well! I left London and spent 3 nights in Barcelona. It was the 3rd time going to Barcelona and I can say with positivity that I will never get tired of that city. It was so nice to be able to speak Spanish regularly as I felt like I haven’t been able to when in London and being away from my family who I usually speak Spanish too rather regularly.

I went to Barcelona and am now in Rome with 5 of my roommates from London and we’ve been having a great time. We went to Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and had an assortment of tapas. We did lose a day in Rome after being stuck at the airport all day because there was snow in Rome that caused RyanAir to cancel our flight. We ended up getting a flight with Vueling instead 12 hours later. For our first true day in Rome we went to the Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and a couple plazas.

As for the rest of spring break, we will be finishing up in Rome tomorrow then in two days I’ll be going to Berlin with one of my roommates and we are going to stay there for 3 days. I have been to Germany but never to Berlin so I am extremely excited to visit for the first time. It’s going to be extremely cold but I think it will be an amazing experience. After that it is back to London to begin classes again.

Until then,
