After my time in London, I began to think about how this experienced has shaped where I want my career to go in the future. From interning with a multinational hotel group to interacting with people on the tube, being abroad made me appreciative of diversity.
I plan on using this experience not only to differentiate myself from applicants when applying for jobs or internships, but also to shape how I carry myself through my professional career and what field of international business I want to carry into.
I am still trying to figure out what I want to do after graduation. My mind wants to do everything, But I think I have decided on exploring law school and using this experience to help me get into the sector of international affairs and international human resources.
This experience has opened my eyes to the vast possibilities and directions I can take when it comes to my future. With help from professors, supervisors, and peers, I believe I can accomplish my newly set goals. If it weren’t for this experience, I don’t know if I would have found my passion for diversity and inclusion and international work. I am forever grateful.
