Because my uncle has been affected by the “The Troubles” in Ireland, that is an area of history that I would like to learn more about. To this day, my uncle is still against Catholicism due to the conflicts he saw in Ireland, and I would like to learn more about what it was like to live in Dublin during the height of the conflict. Although there were many casualties, it seems that The Troubles were a pivotal point in Irish history that must be learned from. I would like to know how those conflicts affected business in Ireland, and maybe how the current turmoil with Brexit is flaring up the old conflicts.
