I think the most applicable professional takeaway for me, while not so glamorous, was an indication of where I wanted to work. I saw that the individuals at the company visits were all passionate about there work, but there was something different in those who were working towards something they believed in. For example, I thought RST and Thread, who had noble objectives, had a much more viable work atmosphere for me. From this, I know I want to work somewhere with a purpose I believe in.

I have enjoyed making many friends that I believe will last through my time here at Pitt. I have also got an invaluable look at the campus before term, which has made me much more confident and excited for the Fall. The experience so far has helped me transition from small town high school to big city college life.
