The Kilmainham Gaol was one of the most interesting places I have ever visited. I am not usually a fan of history, but during the tour, I was fascinated by the stories of people who were imprisoned in the building and the events that took place there. I think it is incredible that they have been able to preserve the building so well because it is an extremely important part of the history of the fight for Irish independence. Howth was another amazing place to visit. The view from the top of the mountain was beautiful and the town is so lively and welcoming. I tried fish and chips for the first time and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Overall, my only Sunday in Ireland was definitely a success and a great experience.
