I watched Max Kneis’ video about management consulting and found it to be similar to the consulting we’ve done in this class. Max talked about management consulting being the analyzation of a company to tell clients what their course of action should be to reach their goals. In Managing in Complex Environments, we wrote two papers that did exactly that. It would be interesting to talk to Max Kneis about the papers from the class to see how well we did as consultants, if he uses PEST and SWOT and Porter’s 5 Forces, and if our courses of action were reasonable/achievable.
