I am looking forward to studying about entrepreneurship. The social entrepreneurship experience that we have gotten from the program so far have been great because it’s very interesting to see how different people approach starting their own business with their own goals and values. I would like to eventually own my own business and work for myself, so studying other examples is very interesting to me.

Majoring in Business – Intellectual Deficits

I see this in my choice to major in business because although I want to focus on getting a job and internships, I also want to take engaging classes that will help me intellectually. This is part of the reason why I am considering minoring in philosophy, so that I will be able to enter the job market and earn a high paying job but will be able to still engage my mind through the discussions that we have in my philosophy classes.

Other Examples Like This?: 

I anticipate being able to interact with other intellectuals both in the business class and outside the classroom in clubs which will challenge me intellectually. I will make sure to put myself into spaces where I won’t only be interacting with other business students who only pay attention to monetary outcomes.
