I don’t have any connection to Ireland. That lack of connection is one of the motivations for me to spend part of my summer in Dublin for this program. I feel like I’m walking in with a completely open mind and will be able to experience something completely new and unique. Hopefully, I’ll be able to have a personal connection to Ireland after my visit. Additionally, being able to travel abroad is always a good experience, especially before I even start my fall semester.
