One of the first reasons that the Docklands area is such a great fit for companies that focus on technology is because the population of Ireland is growing rapidly, which means that young people who innovate can work in the Docklands and help to grow those companies. Also, the low corporate tax rate attracts companies to build their headquarters there and pay low taxes compared to many other countries, such as the US.

I could see myself working in a place like the Docklands after graduating. I like how everything is available through walking/public transportation and the city still has a large amount of growth remaining in their technology./information infrastructure. Also, the city is able to balance their work/life balance well.
