I am sitting in the Pittsburgh Airport waiting to board our plane and am thinking about our weekend!
On Saturday morning, Rishika, Sol, and I got on a bus and went to the Waterfront for some last-minute items at Target. We then headed to Barnes and Noble to walk around before we met up with the other girls for a showing of the new Fantastic Four. We saw the movie in IMAX, which is a super huge screen, and we all really enjoyed the movie! My favorite character is Johnny Storm, as he plays an important role in so many of the scenes.

Once we got back from the movies, we got ready for the Pirates game and went over to PNC Park. It was a really hot day, so we stayed in the shade as long as we could before the game and got Chickie and Pete’s for dinner. Their crab fries and chicken tenders are to die for! It was a pretty good game, and the Pirates beat the Diamondbacks 2-0. We were all tired after and headed home to get some rest.

On Sunday, we pretty much just had a packing day. Rishika and I did all of our laundry early in the morning and then packed up all our things for Ireland. My mom came over to help me out, and we grabbed Divvy for a quick snack as well. Unfortunately, when I got back, I locked myself out of my room (again…. for the third time). We then met up with my family for dinner at Shady Grove, in Shadyside. It is super good there and a great neighborhood to walk around in! I said my goodbyes when we were done before Rishika and I went for a walk around Oakland to end our night. It was a very hot night, but we saw a beautiful sunset to make it worth it!

As I said, we are now in the airport and are super excited to finally head to Ireland and apply all of the skills and research we have worked on so far!
