Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Christina Conte and I am a rising Junior in the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. My intended majors are Supply Chain Management and Business Information Systems and a minor in Spanish. I am originally from Nazareth, Pennsylvania and I am so excited to experience Buenos Aires, Argentina this summer!

At Pitt, I am on the Club Rowing Team as well as a member of the business organizations Phi Beta Lambda and Women in Business. I am looking forward to experiencing 6 weeks in South America, practicing my Spanish, and learning about their culture and customs. I chose this program and location because I want to travel to South America and have the opportunity to practice the language.  I want to continue my growth as a young business woman in a different cultural setting and take in all the learning experiences that Argentina has to offer.

I know I will face challenges while abroad, which is expected with traveling to any foreign country.  My biggest worry is the transportation to and from my internship.  However, I am sure once I go to work a few times I will be able to adapt. I am looking forward to updating everyone on my new experiences and discoveries in Buenos Aires!
