Lexi in London: Just Kidding — PARIS

Bonjour!

I fell in love with Paris. The city is beautiful. Although the main language is French, many of the people were bilingual, which was very helpful. However, I loved hearing the language, it flew so nicely off of their tongues.

On Friday we took an international train to Paris. When we got there we went on a walking tour and got to see the Arc de Triomphe and walked down the Les Champs Elysees towards the Seine.

Then on Saturday we did a walking tour of the Beaubourg area with the Georges Pompidou Centre, the Hotel De Ville, Ile de La Cite, and Notre Dame. We went inside Notre Dame and it was beautiful. The stained-glass windows allowed the church to light up with vibrant colors. Then we went on a boat cruise, followed by visiting the Eiffel Tower. There was a fountain that allowed you to look at the Eiffel Tower from a distance, and many people were swimming in the fountain, which my friends and I found comical.

Finally, on Sunday, we went to Versailles and saw the Gardens. Despite the heat and the sunburn on our shoulders, we had a wonderful time!

Paris, you have my heart.

Ciao,

Lexi (see pictures from my trip below!)
